The vanity table is the most important feature in the bride’s room. It is at this table where the bridal party will not only apply makeup and style hair, but also bond as they share laughs and happy tears. The elements that are incorporated into the vanity table are what makes the vanity table a little something extra for both the bride and her bridesmaids.
I work with the bride to create the perfect vanity table. Together we will decide which features are of the most important to the bride and which items will best meet the needs of the bridal party. This is also where the bride’s personal decor styles will shine. Some brides prefer a minimalist design with sleek lines and a spacious vanity table. This bride may choose to bypass centerpieces and instead use elements of silver or gold as a focal point in her design. Other brides choose to go all out creating the ultimate girly-girl bride’s room with lots of sparkle, glitz and glam. This bride may choose to have a personal vanity station for each of her bridesmaids complete with large light up mirrors, vanity trays and over the top vases topped with kissing balls.
Regardless of the bride’s personal style, her bride’s room will be exquisite because it will be a reflection of who she is as a bride. I look forward to working with the bride as chooses which features to incorporate into her design.
• The Vanity Table. We will discuss how many vanity tables the bridal party will need. Some brides opt for two tables, one for hair and the other makeup. Other brides opt for maximum use of each vanity table creating a station for each bridesmaid.
Table Coverings. The bride will have the opportunity to select which table coverings she’d like on her vanity tables. The standard option is either a white, ivory or champagne colored table covering with a coordinating table runner. Some brides choose to add a little bit of sparkle by adding a sequin overlay.
Mirrors. Mirrors are an important part of the vanity table. I offer two different styles of mirrors: The The Glam Mirror and The Trifold Mirror. My glam mirror is large in size with three different lighting options and dimming lights. This mirror is white in color and my most popular mirror. My trifold mirror is just that, a mirror with three different sections. The left section contains magnifying mirrors, while the center section and right section of the mirrors are regular mirrors. The center section also lights up with lights that can also be dimmed. This mirror is great for bride’s who want a simple, but elegant design. I offer this mirror in both white and rose gold.
Centerpieces. Many brides choose to have centerpieces on her vanity table or snack tables. Centerpieces give a bridal room an extra elegant touch. Right now kissing balls are a popular but beautiful choice to add to the bridal suite. Other great centerpiece options include lanterns, flameless candles or vases with fresh florals.
Vanity Trays. Vanity trays are a great option to add to each bridal station creating a personalized touch for each member of the bridal party. Load your vanity trays with personalized toiletries or they can be used as a place to set jewelry as you get ready for the day.
